Senior Planner

The successful candidate will require minimum of 5 years practical planning experience in the construction industry. A good working knowledge of the Candy system, in particular planning is required. The position will include marketing, user support, training and administration.

Travel will form an integral part of the job above and will involve visiting existing and prospective clients, both locally and internationally. If you are strongly motivated with good presentation skills and enjoy working with people we would like to have you on our team.

Remuneration package highly negotiable.

Switchboard Operator

Candidate requires experience in effective switchboard operation. Must be client centric, have a clear voice and a good command of English. Previous experience as a switchboard operator will be an advantage.

Quantity Surveyors required in Poland

We are looking to employ in Poland several people with the following capabilities to work on the Polish Motorway Program: The following experience is required: 1. Experienced Cost-control professionals - 5-10 years experience 2. Detailed knowledge of CCS ( Estimating software) 3. Experience of running larger projects ( Cost Control function) using CCS Software. 4. Role is to run the cost control function of large sites ( euro 100 million plus) mainly road sector / heavy civil engineering with the assistance of local clerks and a bi-ligual clerical assistant. The assistants etc will tap the information into the materials data-base, the cost manager will provide reports and updates reporting to the project director on the site. Terms and Conditions: 1. Salary Range Euro 5- 7 thousand depending on experience 2. Flat provided near to site ( in one case in Sourhern Poland in the other in Warsaw) 3. Car / telephone / lap-top etc as needed for the task. Prospects: 1. This is project based work - various locations on site duration 2-3 years 2. Contract value generally Euro 100 million plus. 3. There is often a structure whereby M&I ( working for the main contractor) has a share of any claims or additional funds obtained on the site. The group has a decentralised network of operations, strategically located near mining & energy resources-related precincts around Australia. Corporate offices are located in Perth (Western Australia) & Brisbane (Queensland). Working within our Water Division, this role will report directly to our National Operations Manager, based on the eastern seaboard of Australia. Working in Brisbane within a team that is proud of its successes to date in both contracts awarded and completed, this role will be responsible for managing the estimating activities for a variety of civil related water projects. Typically project values are ranging from $20million AUD - $200million AUD. As a Senior Estimator you will: • Report to and supporting the National Operations Manager in all activities related to estimating and tendering • Assist in the compiling of major tenders, proposals and expressions of interest on behalf of the division. • Generate Estimates for the division in a multidisciplinary environment • Participate in pre-award negotiations, in consultation with the management team Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified or have an appropriate trade background, and have more than 3 years experience in an Estimating capacity within a Civil Engineering and Construction Company.
